Making a Difference
Clients often tell us after their first consultation that they came in feeling anxious and overwhelmed but are leaving with a sense of relief. What makes us different is we listen to client’s needs; how are we going to help if we don’t get to know you (and your business)? We find it essential to spend the time to develop a plan of action, whether it be starting a new business, entering into a commercial lease for a new location, negotiating with an unreasonable landlord, or filing a bankruptcy case to save a home.

I was introduced to Kelly at Roberts Law by a client when I asked for the referral after finding it difficult to find a lawyer who I felt understood my specific needs as a business owner in the Information Technology Industry. Not only did Kelly and Josh have experience in my field, but they spoke the language, knew of many of my challenges before I even mentioned them, and even brought many great ideas to the table for the project. They were attentive and prompt, professional and courteous. Kelly really went above and beyond, and used her resources to uncover some business registration issues and other things I was unaware of. She then expeditiously took care of everything and then sent me action dates to add to my calendar as far as five years ahead. If you are looking for a law firm with experience and professionalism who will fully allocate the time to understand and take care of you, look no further. I am beyond pleased and will be using Roberts Law for all of my business legal needs from this point forward. Truly grateful to make this connection.
I was referred to Kelly by a friend and I’m so thankful to have found her. When the pandemic hit I had to change my contract, I had it rewritten by another Attorney because I was in a rush and didn’t know Kelly yet. After a few months of sending out my updated contract I realized it was not a solid contract for the state of my industry. So that is when I found Kelly and from the first phone call I knew she was the person for the job. She is so well versed in my industry (Weddings/Events), the previous Attorney was not and man does it make a difference to have someone that knows what they are talking about. She is very easy to talk to and was very honest and upfront about what I needed to update in my contract. She also has the patience of a saint. We did a few rounds of drafts because I’m crazy and wanted to have every scenario in my contract but now I realize it doesn’t need to work like that. She brought me down to reality and really taught me a lot about understanding how contracts work! I intend to keep Kelly around as my Attorney she really is the best!!!!!
Our leased facility sustained smoke damage and over the course of 6 months, the reconstruction company and landlord were not sharing the same urgency of us putting the facility back to working order. We hired Kelly from a glowing referral from our corporate lawyer as they did not specialize in commercial leases. What we loved about working with Kelly was that she implemented strategies and generated co-interests among other parties to put pressure on the reconstruction company, landlord and insurance companies to solve the reimbursement issues. Nice to see that a professional strategic concept is so effective.
Kelly helped my family and me through one of the most difficult financial times when we had to file Chapter 7. She was very thorough, understanding, compassionate and genuinely caring. She not only did her job as our attorney but made my family and I feel secure as she presented our case and defended us. She held our hands through the process, she answered every question I had, she was successful in our court case and she followed up with us numerous times. She knows what she is doing,
“Kelly was a pleasure to work with during a very difficult situation. I highly recommend her and the firm she works with.
She handled our personal Chapter 7 bankruptcy – which was quite challenging due to our prior Chapter 12 Corporate bankruptcy and a very difficult business partner in Naples, Florida. She was professional and very understanding.
