Josh is a driven technology transactions attorney, litigator, and certified privacy professional that has over a decade of legal experience with complex commercial and technical agreements, data security, compliance, Software as a Service (SaaS), privacy law, litigation, and mergers and acquisitions. This experience and expertise helps him provide trusted fractional general counsel and on-demand legal support for growing and mid-sized companies. Following a career as a litigator for an Am Law 200 firm, Josh took an in-house role and was promoted to Associate General Counsel and Privacy/Security Officer for a publicly traded, international technology company. His contractual/transactional specialization is based on his Big Law courtroom appearances and experience as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), and he drafts and negotiates agreements through those lenses.
Josh earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was an Articles & Comments Editor for the University of Miami Law Review before graduating Summa Cum Laude. Before law school, he played football for Dartmouth College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Josh is an active member of local, state, and national organizations, including the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). He enjoys running, golfing, and skiing with his family, and when not watching Miami Hurricanes football games, you can find him running on Sarasota’s Legacy Trail.
