Kelly Roberts is a corporate and bankruptcy attorney. Kelly is known for being honest and direct with her advice and keeping efficiency and costs in mind when making recommendations. 

Her business & corporate practice includes assisting business owners with entity choice and formation, applicable corporate governance agreements and documents, drafting and negotiating asset and equity purchase and sale transactions (from the letter of intent to closing), employment agreements, and navigating commercial lease negotiations on both the landlord and tenant side.

Her bankruptcy practice includes representation of creditors, interested parties, and guarantors in Florida’s Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts in consumer and business bankruptcy chapters.

Kelly is an active member of local, state, and national organizations. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Sarasota County Bar Association,  and the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association.  Kelly is also a Barrister Member of the Judge John M. Scheb American Inn of Court, and active in the Florida Business Law Section currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Corporations, Securities & Financial Services Committee.

When Kelly is not in the office, you will likely find her on the golf course, skiing, or spending time with her husband, daughter and dachshund.
